Data Use Policy

This Policy explains the types of data we collect, the ways in which this data is collected, processed, and used through the INGENIO website, as well as the choices you have as users of the website regarding access, correction, and deletion of your personal data.

 

1.1 Data we collect from you.

This data concerns information that you provide to INGENIO by filling in your details in the contact forms on the website, and/or by submitting your CV for a job.

If you fill in a contact form, your personal data is collected in order to be contacted by our specialized staff. In the case of submitting a CV, we process your personal data in the context of an evaluation for the specific job.

 

1.2 Automatically collected data.

When you use our website, your device automatically provides us with data and technical information about your computer, such as your IP address or other device identifier, the type of device you are using and the version of the operating system.

In addition to technical information, we also collect usage information and statistics about your interaction with the site, such as information about the URLs of the web pages you visited within the site, the source of referring pages to our site, exit pages, the time you spent on each page, the number of clicks, location data (if you have enabled access to your location) and other relevant information about how you used the site.

We use this data to determine the number of people who use our site, to better understand how they find and use the site, to see their path through the site and to understand which parts of our site are considered most interesting. Our ultimate goal is to improve the user experience by evolving the content and structure of the site.

2. Who has access and processes your data?

Access to your personal data can only be granted to our duly authorized employee, and only for the above-mentioned processing purposes.

 

3. For how long we keep your data?

We retain your Personal Data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy and therefore, the retention period may vary significantly depending on the type of data and how it is used.

In both cases, your details are stored in a temporary database where they are kept for 6 months. At the end of the 6 months, your data will be automatically deleted from the company’s database, unless you give your consent to their processing again.

In any case, you have the right to request the deletion of your data at any time. However, please note that even if you request the deletion of data, we may retain some of the data solely for the purpose of complying with legal obligations or for the establishment, exercise, and maintenance of legal claims.

 

4. Your rights

Your rights regarding your personal data are regulated by Greek legislation and in particular its harmonization with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), according to which you have the right to:

4.1 Request access to your personal data, i.e. make a request to find out whether we are processing data and, if so, what the data are, what the purpose of the processing is, who the recipients are, etc.

4.2 Request the correction of your personal data, i.e. request the correction or completion of the data you have submitted to INGENIO.

4.3 Request the deletion of your personal data, unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of INGENIO’s legal rights, for the fulfilment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the defense of our legal rights before judicial or other authorities.

4.4 Request the restriction of the processing of your personal data only for specific purposes, i.e. to ensure, under certain conditions, that we restrict the processing of your data.

4.5 In the event of a data breach, which may pose a high risk to your rights and freedoms, and which does not fall within one of the exceptions provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation, we have the obligation to inform you without undue delay.
