Aiming to open the discussion around this critical need, INGENIO is organizing its 2nd online Expert Talk, titled “Cyber Risk Readiness for Modern Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.”
Through this discussion, participants will have the opportunity to understand why a proper digital risk assessment must precede any investment in security tools, as well as how the quality of IT infrastructure is now directly linked to a company’s insurability and cyber insurance prerequisites.
The discussion will be moderated by Dimitra Tsarpala, Account Manager at INGENIO, hosting two experienced professionals from the technology and insurance sectors:
Polykarpos Remoundos, Co-Owner & Business Development at INGENIO, will analyze the preparation required before insuring a business against cyber threats, as well as the prerequisites examined regarding IT infrastructure and security procedures. He will also explain why cyber insurance does not function as a standard insurance policy but is directly linked to digital risk assessment and each company’s level of readiness.
Antonis Apergis, Owner & CEO of ACTIUS Insurance Services, will present how the need for cyber insurance emerged, what criteria insurance companies examine when evaluating a business, and what the actual operational and financial impact of a cyberattack can be.
